Louis Langdown’s views on win at Bishops Cleeve.

Louis Langdown’s views on win at Bishops Cleeve.

Louis Langdown was understandably delighted with last night’s 3-1 victory at Bishops Cleeve. Sean McGlead managed to catch a few words with him after the game

How do you feel Louis after that result?

“Buzzing mate, The manner of the performance really pleased me’’.

What was the game like from your point of view?

“Bishops Cleeve didn’t really trouble us if I am honest, until their goal which was a poor goal defensively from our point of view, but these lads are a young bunch and they reacted superbly’’.

What were the goals like?

Feens goal started with Pip Nolan playing in Curtis Young and he played the ball across to Sherbs who laid the ball back across goal for Feens to bury the ball. We should have gone in 2-0 up really, because Feens had another great chance to score afterwards’’.

“Then the equaliser came against the run of play which was disappointing as I have already said, but the reaction was great from the lads and Toby set up Motty who headed the ball home for his 2nd goal in two games’’.

“I set the lads a target of six points in the first two games, after playing so well and conceding that goal I didn’t want us to end up losing or even drawing this game, when we were so much the better side’’.

The lads went on to secure the three points with a 3rd. what was that goal like?

“Yeah it was another good goal, Curtis played in Feens on the right and he played the ball in to Sherbs who made no mistake. The goal was no more than we deserved’’.

“The forwards combined well, Toby was excellent although Sherbs had a great game too, in fact all the lads put in a great shift’’.

So onto Saturday and it’s the FA Cup at Fleet Town?

“We have got two wins out of two but we need to keep our feet on the ground and keep moving forward, I am a very happy man but I want a good cup run so we need to forget about this game and focus on Fleet Town now’’.

Well done Louis and congratulations on tonights win.

“No problem it will be a nice journey home’’.
