STAGS SWEEP PAST ALRESFORD IN HAMPSHIRE SENIOR CUP
AFC Totton returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Alresford Town. The Stags started brightly, and a break saw Brett WILLIAMS power a header home. The visitors doubled their lead when WILLIAMS won and coolly converted a penalty. A long ball to WILLIAMS caught the keeper off his line, and he half-volleyed for a first-half hat-trick. Alresford countered at the start of the second half, WINSER turning in from a corner to make it 3-1. Totton added some gloss when a Jordan Raguette shot from distance was parried into the path of WILLIAMS, who turned home for his fourth. Ryan Pennery then made his comeback from a long injury layoff as the Stags advanced into the next round.
