SUPER STAGS THUMP SORRY ROBINS

AFC Totton closed the gap to leaders Sholing to three points, as Jimmy Ball’s men thrashed Bideford AFC 8-1.

The pick of the bunch was the first, as Josh CARMICHAEL opened his account for the Stags with an acrobatic bicycle kick.

Lewis BROOKS equalised for the away side, before Scott RENDELL responded with two goals after some fantastic work from Ethan Taylor.

Totton came out flying in the second half, with Charlie DAVIS putting them 4-1 up.

The introduction of Matty BURROWS proved to be a deadly weapon, as the substitute scored twice in 14 minutes to put the hosts 6-1 up.

Tommy WRIGHT prodded home a seventh, before teenager BURROWS sealed his hat-trick in the final minute.

Totton return to action against Hamble Club on the 16th March in a Southampton Senior Cup Semi-Final.
