STAGS SNATCH STOPPAGE TIME DRAW

AFC Totton left it late but struck in stoppage time to earn a draw at struggling Bideford AFC.

After the teams agreed to switch venues during the week, the Stags made the long trip to Devon having not played since December 27th.

The Robins made the most of some early rustiness as Benjamin WOOD pounced on some indecisive defending to stab home the opener.

From there Bideford played on the counter, and had goalkeeper Adam Seedhouse Evans to thank for keeping them in front, making numerous stops, including from a point-blank Tommy Wright header.

When the game seemed over, Luke HALLETT headed home a free-kick in injury time to break home fans’ hearts, and send Totton home with a point.
