Spoils shared as Farm stop Stags perfect record
On a sweltering afternoon at The Creek, both sides played out a lively draw. With Totton delayed in transit, they started slowly and Owen HOWE capitalised, smashing a free kick home for an early lead. The visitors warmed up, Hisham KASIMU springing the offside trap to steer a deflected effort home. He then won the ball high up the pitch, flicking the ball to Ethan Taylor who curled home a superlative effort into the top corner. Totton pushed for a third, Taylor having a shot cannon off the crossbar, but couldn’t find a way through. Callum Baughan was sent off, and Owen HOWE once more found the bottom corner with the resulting set piece eerily reminiscent of the opener.
