SPOILS SHARED IN TOPSY-TURVY TUSSLE

AFC Totton missed the chance to go level with Frome Town, conceding a late equaliser at Evesham United. The Stags started slowly with the home side taking a very early lead through the dangerous Brandon SMALLEY. Totton steadied the ship and scored a spectacular long-range strike from Ben JEFFORD, going in level. After the break, the away side took a deserving lead as the lively Ethan TAYLOR rounded the goalkeeper to slide home. Shortly after, Jordan STATEN headed in the equaliser after a point-blank save from Amadeusz Skrzyniarz. With 20 minutes left, TAYLOR scored his second and Totton’s third, turning in a Jack Hoey cross. In the dying seconds, an unmarked Michael SYMONS hammered home to deny the Stags victory.
