TRAVELLING TOTTON TAKE DOWN TOWN
AFC Totton continued their promotion push with a 3-1 away win at Exmouth Town.
The visitors started brightly, with both of their first half goals coming from set pieces. Centre back Charlie KENNEDY gave the Stags the lead with a thumping header from a corner, before his defensive partner Luke HALLETT finished with a deft flick from a short free-kick routine.
Exmouth improved after half-time, and briefly had a numerical advantage after Jordan Ragguette received a straight red card. Totton extended their lead regardless through a composed Ethan TAYLOR finish. Town then had Thomas Gardner sent off, but pulled a goal back through a deflected Ethan SLATER strike.
Totton however held firm for the victory and another vital three points.
