FROME TOPPLED BY CLINICAL KASIMU
AFC Totton produced a superb display to sweep aside table-toppers Frome Town on Tuesday night.
Hisham Kasimu scored twice and set up a third as the Stags clipped the wings of the high-flying Robins.
After a disjointed opening with neither side stamping authority, KASIMU gave the home side the lead as he slotted past James Carey after a dainty lofted pass from Ethan Taylor.
On the hour mark, KASIMU doubled his team’s advantage, hammering beyond a stricken Carey when through one-on-one.
Ethan TAYLOR added gloss to the scoreline, manufacturing a tidy curled effort into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
The Stags move onto FA Trophy action against Larkhall Athletic on Saturday.
