HONOURS EVEN AS LARKS HOLD STAGS
In front of a bumper crowd on 1,435 on Non-League Day, the home fans saw Totton dominate the first half, taking a deserved lead into the break after Scott RENDELL banged home the opener.
The game turned early in the second half, as Charlie Kennedy saw red for the hosts, and Bradley NORRIS equalised from the resulting spot-kick.
After weathering some away pressure, the Stags grew back into the contest in an end-to-end game, but neither side could break the deadlock, and in truth neither side tested the opposition goalkeepers enough, as the home side were left to rue not making the most of their first half dominance.
