STAGS’ PERFECT START CONTINUES WITH FOUR GOAL VICTORY
AFC Totton continued their strong form with a dominant victory over Lymington Town. The hosts started brightly, with the dangerous Thelen cannoning a shot off the crossbar.
It was Totton who broke through, however, Kasimu threading a beautiful ball into Ethan TAYLOR who finished when one-on-one. The Stags quickly doubled their advantage when Kasimu was clipped from behind, and Jack HOEY finished with aplomb from the spot. Sam Griffin had a goal disallowed for the visitors, and their lead increased early in the second period as Kasimu linked up with TAYLOR, and he rifled an effort beyond Ross Casey. Griffin’s late shot took a wicked deflection off Timothy STEPHENSON to put it beyond the home keeper.
