AFC Totton wrapped up a remarkable season by retaining the Southampton Divisional FA Saturday Senior Cup with a 3-0 victory over rivals Sholing.

In front of a crowd of over 2,000 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Totton started brightly and took the lead when Scott RENDELL converted from the penalty spot after Ethan Taylor was brought down. The duo combined again for the second goal; Taylor’s shot from range was parried by Sholing ‘keeper Ryan Gosney for Scott RENDELL to finish the rebound.

The Boatmen were brighter after the break, but couldn’t unlock a tight Stags defence, before Rendell set up Ethan TAYLOR for Totton’s third after a short corner routine.

This victory adds the SDFA Cup to The Stags' Southern League Division One South and Champion vs. Champion triumphs, capping a remarkable treble-winning season.
