STAGS SINK SWANS WITH DOMINANT DISPLAY

AFC Totton played host to Slimbridge at the Snows Stadium in an excellent 3-0 win in the Southern League Division One South.

The Stags were on top from the word go, as Ethan Taylor hit the post from Scott Rendell’s knock on.

Rendell opened the scoring on 14 minutes with a looping header from Jack Masterton’s free-kick.

Minutes later, Brett Williams doubled Totton’s advantage nipping in front of the goalkeeper to poke home.

Williams came close to a brace, rattling the bar from a free-kick.

Rendell made it 3-0 from the penalty spot after Jake Adams was fouled in the 77th minute.

And The Stags frontman had multiple chances to complete his hattrick, hitting the woodwork twice in quick succession.
