TEN-MAN TOTTON IN TEMPESTUOUS TRIUMPH

AFC Totton battled to a 2-1 win at Willand Rovers.

After a strong start, Totton were a man down after Ben Jefford received a straight red card. They took the lead regardless, Ethan TAYLOR coolly finishing from the edge of the area. The visitors could have doubled their lead, but Scott Rendell put a penalty wide.

Willand equalised in first half injury time thanks to Daniel KOITA’s cute chip.

Both sides had chances in the second half, with Matty Burrows having a goal disallowed for offside for the Stags, but the game seemed destined for a draw until Ethan TAYLOR won a penalty in the dying seconds, slamming home the resulting spot-kick to send the three points back to Hampshire.
