AFC Totton are through to the SDFA Senior Cup Final after overcoming Winchester City.
Goals from Hisham Kasimu and Shaq Gwengwe carried the Stags to the St Mary’s finale.
In a cagey first period, Gwengwe spurned a brace of gilt-edged chances at Sholing’s Mackoy Stadium.
After the teams went in goalless at half-time, the Citizens started the brightest.
However, it was the Stags who took the lead with KASIMU blasting home from the spot after Gwengwe was felled.
With ten minutes remaining, Totton doubled their lead as GWENGWE tucked away neatly after immaculate interplay.
There was to be late drama with Winchester’s Olly BALMER converting a penalty in added time, but the Stags held on to a 2-1 victory.
