Reasons to buy a Stags season ticket for 2017/18

10th June 2017 News

Are you still thinking of buying a Stags season ticket for 2017/18?

Read this and you will see that is is a great idea!!!

Louis Langdown have been very busy this summer re-shaping the Stags squad ready for the 2017/18 Season.

So far the club have added these new signings….

Goalkeeper Shane Murphy from Dorchester Town. Shane played every game for the Southern Premier side last season. Louis knows Shane from his time at AFC Bournemouth where he was coached by former Cherries and Southampton keeper Neil Moss.

Forward Toby Adekunle from Team Solent, Toby looks a very exciting player with pace, who can create and score goals!

Midfielder/Defender Pip Nolan from Team Solent. Pip is a versatile player who has good passing ability

Defender Callum Chugg from AFC Fawley. Callum is a lad with a bright future. Louis & Adam spotted Callum whilst watching other targets.

Striker Tony Lee from Gosport Borough. Ex Eastleigh striker Tony has bags of ability and he should score plenty of goals. Tony played three games on loan with the Stags in Oct 2015 scoring two hat tricks in three games!

Striker Craig Feeney from Winchester City. Craig scores goals wherever he goes. He scored 33 in all competitions for Winchester City last season and he scored 23 for the Stags back in 2014/15.

Midfielder Alfy Whittingham on a season long loan from Havant & Waterlooville. Alfy is an all action box to box midfielder who did really well for us last season.

Right back Connor York on a permanent deal from AFC Bournemouth. Connor was a star performer last season for the Stags. He was very unfortunate to have been released by the Cherries at the end of the season as he is a very good player indeed. I would not be surprised to see Connor still make it in the professional game.

Midfielder Curtis Young on a permanent deal from AFC Bournemouth. I could more or less say the same for Curtis as I did for Connor. Curtis has bags of ability as we saw last season. Curtis was also released by the Cherries but he has now signed a permanent deal with the Stags. Curtis has a very bright future in the game and the Stags fans will have the pleasure of watching Curtis’s silky skills next season.

On top of this the club have secured the signature of exciting young midfielder Charlie Gunson. Charlie got better and better last season and having him in our midfield again in 2017/18 is fantastic news!

I think you will agree that this looks like some good business that has been done by the club.

So why not check out the prices below and secure yourself a season ticket for what promises to be a very entertaining 2017/18 season!!!
