Stags striker Brett Williams taken to hospital (Updated Sun 11th Oct)

AFC Totton striker Brett Williams was taken to hospital after having to come off in the 66th minute of yesterday’s 3-0 win over Bristol Manor Farm with a shoulder injury.  Williams had just burst past a couple of Manor Farm defenders and he was brought down by Farm keeper Ben John just outside the box. At first there was no major concern, but Williams needed lengthy treatment before being helped off the pitch.

The good news is that there is no break. So hopefully this will reduce the length of time that Williams is out of the side.  The Stags striker has been in terrific form, having scored six goals in the last four Totton games.

Get well soon Brett!
