Welcome to a new season!
As we welcome everyone back to the Snows Stadium for another season in the National
League South, there is plenty to look forward to on the pitch, but there is also lots
happening away from the football too.
AFC Totton is proud to be at the heart of our local community, and AFC Totton in the
Community (Charity No. 1206854) was established to build on that role and make an even
greater difference to local people, schools, charities, community groups and organisations.
As we begin a new season, we are looking forward to developing our community work even
further and creating more opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with the Club.
Over the past few seasons, we have supported a wide range of local charities and
fundraising campaigns, welcomed community organisations to matchdays, worked with
local schools and provided opportunities for young people to experience football at the
Snows Stadium.
We have also linked with our Youth Teams, Pan Disability, Walking Football and Beach
Soccer teams, to start working together to start helping to make football accessible to more
people within our community.
Football is our foundation, but our role in the community goes far beyond the pitch.
We want AFC Totton to be a place where people feel welcome, whether they are here to
watch the Stags, take part in football, support a local cause, meet friends, or simply be part
of the wider AFC Totton community.
Throughout the season you will see local charities, community groups and fundraising
campaigns featured in the matchday programme, around the stadium and at selected home
fixtures. There will also be opportunities to support causes through awareness events,
bucket collections and other fundraising activities.
We hope that you will continue to get behind these initiatives. The generosity of the Stags
family has already made a real difference to many local causes. In the last year with match
day collections and prizes given for raffles and auctions we have helped raise over £30,000
for the local community.
Looking ahead
This season we want to build on what has already been achieved and develop new
partnerships with local organisations, schools, charities and community groups.
As a registered charity, we can now look at new ways of fundraising and applying for grants
to support the development of our youth, pan disability and walking football teams and
community programmes and make more opportunities available to local people.
If you are involved with a local charity, school, community group or fundraising event and

to hear your ideas and explore how we can work together to benefit our local community.

Community so far. Whether you have attended an event, supported a bucket collection,
