It is with great sadness that AFC Totton share the sad news of the passing of Kath Heath, aged 34.
Kath joined the AFC Totton Women's team at the start of this season and, although she was new to the team, she quickly made a lasting impression on everyone. Her positivity, sense of humour, and commitment shone through from the first training session, earning her huge respect and affection from her teammates and coaches alike.
On and off the pitch, Kath embodied the values we hold dear; togetherness, effort, and friendship. She will be remembered not only as a talented footballer but as a wonderful person whose warmth lifted those around her.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go to Kath’s family, friends, and teammates at this incredibly difficult time. The club will honour her memory at our next home fixture against Maidenhead on Tuesday 4th November.
