AFC Totton regretfully announce that, for personal reasons, Stephen Snow has stepped down from his role as Chairman of the Club, effective immediately.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Stephen for his years of dedicated service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to The Stags. Under his guidance, the club has taken significant strides both on and off the pitch, laying strong foundations for future success.
Reflecting on his time as Chairman of AFC Totton Stephen said "Sadly, due to personal circumstances which will remain private, I have resigned from being Chairman of AFC Totton.
“I would like to say it has been an absolute privilege to be Chairman these last four years which I have enjoyed immensely, and I would like to thank everyone at the club and all the supporters who have contributed in making it a very enjoyable experience for me and my family.
“I am also pleased to confirm Snows will remain a sponsor of the Club and I will look forward to supporting the Stags for many years ahead!"
The Club is pleased to confirm that Director Kevin Hebenton will take over as Chairman, effective immediately.
Kevin brings a fresh approach to the Club’s ongoing growth and vision, having been a key figure behind the scenes. We are confident his leadership will provide stability and drive continued progress during this transitional period.
On his appointment Kevin said “It is an absolute privilege and honour to be voted in as Chairman of this great Club, even if only on a temporary basis.
“Stephen’s leadership will be a hard act to follow, but he has offered his personal guidance and support, for which I’m grateful.
“I hope I can lead the Board and the Club forward on and off the pitch until a new Chairman can be appointed.”
The Club’s board will begin the process of identifying a permanent Chairman in due course. In the meantime, we thank our supporters, players, staff, and sponsors for their continued backing.
We wish Stephen all the very best in his future endeavours and once again express our gratitude for his outstanding contribution to AFC Totton.
