Injury’s getting better!
Dave Allen returned to action successfully with the Reserves last weekend and is now in contention for a place in this weekend’s squad.
Mark Lilley successfully came through a tough training session with Josh Ward, the Strengthening and Condition coach on Tuesday and this saw him join the full session on Thursday evening. We will be looking for him to continue his rehab and the next step was going to be playing half a game tomorrow (Saturday 5 December) for the Reserves but unfortunately that game has been postponed.
Jack Simpson is still having on-going treatment for ligament damage with his club, AFC Bournemouth, and is responding well to treatment. We hope to see him back at the Testwood Stadium soon.
Mike Gosney is receiving further treatment on the ankle injury he sustained at Evesham and is still a minimum of a week away from re-joining training. His rehab will continue throughout next week.
Nick Watts is suspended from tomorrows game due to picking up his 5th caution of the season, also against Evesham.
Finally, we are pleased to announce the dual signing of Jack Juerschik from Eastleigh. The pacey winger is a former Strachan Football Foundation Scholar and will join the squad for tomorrow’s game.
The squad for tomorrow’s game at North Leigh is as follows; (from) Steve Mowthorpe, Victor Silvestre, Liam Hibberd, Marc Diaper, Patrick Wilson, James Roden, Luke Dempsey, Mitchell Hunt , Neil Williams, Jack Alexander, Dave Allen, Jake Burgess, Jake Rawkins, Jack Juerschik, Nathaniel Sherborne, Taylor Edwards & Dylan Knight
