Stags v Wantage preview
AFC Totton will host Wantage Town at the Testwood Stadium tomorrow evening ( Tue Aug 11th, 7.45pm) in their opening home fixture of the season.
The new look Stags will be looking to get points on the board after Saturdays 3-2 loss at Taunton Town. Totton showed enough on Saturday to give the fans real hope that this season will be a big improvement on the 2014/15 campaign.
Wantage opened their season on Saturday with a 1-0 home defeat to Southern League new boys Slimbridge. The Alfredians will therefore be hoping to get their first points on the board tomorrow evening.
In the corresponding fixture last season the Stags ran out 3-1 winners, with goals from Jamie Blackburn and a brace from Craig Feeney. Adam Lovegrove scored a late consolation for the Alfredians.
