FROME TOWN – THEIR SEASON SO FAR:

Sitting two divisions below The Stags after Totton’s promotion last season and The Robins’ relegation, Frome have had a very good start to the league as they are 4^th, having won all of their league games to date.

Their season started with a 3-0 home win against Tavistock in the league followed up by a 1-3 away win at Bashley in the league. The Robins’ FA Cup journey started in the preliminary round, with them beating AFC Newquay 2-1.

It was another away win at Bashley for Frome, this time 0-3 and in the FA Trophy preliminary round. A big 0-4 for them against Plymouth Parkway in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup continued their only winning start to the campaign.

This unfortunately for Frome, came to an end when they met Winchester in the FA Trophy first qualifying round as they fell victim to a 2-0 away defeat, their first non-win of the season.

After two 1-1 draws with Shaftesbury, Frome managed to win on pens to set up this tie against AFC Totton and their lats match in the league was a 1-0 home win against Mousehole AFC.
