The Stags begin their Hampshire Senior Cup journey away to Eastleigh tomorrow for the second round!
Last time out Totton were defeated away at Dorking Wanderers, read the match report from that game by clicking here.
Both Eastleigh and Totton are expected to make wholesale changes for this game to keep players fresh, fit and ready, with a lot of games having already been played in a short amount of time.
EASTLEIGH – THEIR SEASON SO FAR:
Being one division above Totton, The Spitfires sit in 11th place in the National League with ten points from eight games. They started the season off with two back-to-back losses, a 1-0 loss away at Brackley Town and a 0-2 loss at home to Gateshead.
Bouncing back well, Eastleigh won their next two games, a derby day victory away at Aldershot, winning 2-3, and a comfortable 2-0 home win versus Boston United, solidified them in mid table through four games.
Still they have struggled to put a consecutive string of good results in so far early on, as they lost to Forest Green beat Altrincham, drew to Scunthorpe and last time out lost away at Tamworth leaving Kelvin Davis’ side 11th place.
