AFC Totton AFC Totton Pitching In - Partners with Southern Football League

Following this weeks announcement about Louis Langdown becoming our new manager and Adam Wilde becoming his assistant, the work has started on strengthening the squad.

Adam Wilde has signed on as a player as well as Assistant Manager.  Adam joins us from Gosport Borough where he played left back.  Adam began his career at Cambridge United, making four appearances for the first team and going out on loan to Kettering Town in 1999.  Following his release by Cambridge United that year, he signed for Cambridge City, where he remained until 2002.  He then signed for Worcester City, beginning a two-year stay before transferring to Weymouth in 2004.  Now an experienced Conference player, Adam signed for Salisbury City in 2006, however only made 12 appearances, scoring 4 goals before transferring in the same year to St Albans City. There,  Adam made seven goalless appearances before moving to Eastbourne Borough; at Eastbourne, he settled into the first team and made 57 appearances without scoring a goal.  In 2008 he moved from Eastbourne to Sutton United, scoring 3 goals in 15 matches, before leaving for Farnborough where he scored twice in 19 appearances.  Following this came a season-long stint with us, where he was a regular in the first team making 42 appearances, before he moved on to Gosport Borough in the summer of 2009.

Charlie Searle has joined us on loan from Havant & Waterlooville FC. Charlie is a graduate of their Academy, brought into the side in the 2013/14 pre-season at a time when all three of the Hawks’ goalkeepers from the previous season had either moved on or been released. In his first season he understudied experienced keeper Scott Bevan, making just five appearances throughout, but impressed enough to be retained and has gone on to play 15 games for the Hawks in all to the end of the 2015/16 season. He signed a new two year contract at the end of July 2016.  Charlie has played for Fareham Town and Salisbury FC on loan.

Marley Ridge plays in Midfield.  He is 19 years old and has played at Aylesbury United and Winchester City on loan.  Marley will not be available for selection until next weekend (25/11/16)
