The Club Executive are pleased to announce that Steve Riley and his team, Chris Ferrett and Steve Hollick, yesterday signed 12 month extensions to their contracts.
The new contracts will keep team at AFC Totton until May 2015. The Club Executive would like to thank Steve and his team for their patience over the past 12 to 18 months with the club and the position that it found itself in.
Andy Straker, Chairman said “Both Steve and his assistants stood by AFC Totton when it would have been easier to walk away, this contract extension is our way of saying thank you. With the club now having a sounder footing and work already underway on formulating next seasons squad all supporters of AFC Totton should be excited about the new season ahead. I believe with this management team and the squad of players that we will have by the start of the season we can show the South and West Division what AFC Totton is really about.”
Pre-season training starts on Thursday 26 June 2014 at the Testwood Stadium with the clubs first pre-season friendly scheduled for Tuesday 8 July against Alresford (game to be played at Wellington Sports Ground, Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh. KO 19:45)
The Southern League South and West Division starts on Saturday 9 August 2014, fixtures will be released sometime in July.
