PRE SEASON CONTINUES
After last Tuesdays 5-0 win at Brockenhurst the Stags will continue their pre Season build up with a very short trip to the Test Park sports Ground to face Sydenhams Premier side Team Solent on Friday evening (17th July-7.45pm).
Team Solent are managed by Ex Stags striker James Taylor. Taylor did an excellent job in steering the students to the Sydenhams Division one championship last season.
Then on Saturday the Stags travel to Dorset for the Weymouth 125 Tournament, which takes place at the Bob Lucas Stadium, home of Weymouth Fc. (More details to follow on the website tomorrow)
For anybody not quite sure how to get to The Test Park Sports Ground for Friday nights game……..
Head towards Southampton, just before you get to Millbrook roundabout turn left into Parkside Avenue.
Turn left into Brookwood Road.
Turn right into Cuckmere Lane (The road where Redbridge School is)
Turn left into Kendall Avenue, carry on for about 1/3 of a mile until you reach ‘The Saints’ pub.
Turn left into Mansel Road West, then carry on until you reach the T junction by Holy Family School.
Turn left into Lower brownhill Road.
Carry on along Lower Brownhill Road and after a short distance you will see a turning on the left for The Test Park Sports Ground – Home of Team Solent.
