AFC Totton is proud to work alongside Wessex Heartbeat who are pleased to announce a charity event at the Romsey Golf Club.
We would like to welcome you on the 9th October for an 18 hole shotgun start competition.
Located at Romsey Road, Southampton, SO16 0XW, not only will you enjoy a brilliant day out, you will also be provided with fantastic refreshments on your arrival, as well as a 3 course dinner.
You may enter with a team of 4 for £300, with prizes for the winning team, so what better way to prove your talents with a golf club.
About Romsey Golf Club:
Romsey Golf Club is an oasis of beauty on the edge of Southampton. Described by a journalist as ‘a real woodland gem’ the course makes its way through undulating ground with tree lined fairways, raised greens and deep bunkers.
Romsey has long had the reputation of being a very friendly club, from the time you drive into the car park, expect a warm welcome from both the staff in the clubhouse as well as the professionals shop.
The course meanders through the trees, with its own version of Amen Corner on the front nine, three holes that will provide a challenge for any golfer. For although the entire course is less than 6000 yards, the narrow wooded fairways, doglegs and strategically placed bunkers make it an examination of accuracy rather than length.
