Sholing v AFC Totton – Russel Cotes Cup

This evening AFC Totton face local rivals Sholing in the Russel Cotes Cup at the Silverlake Arena (7.45pm).

The Stags boss Steve Hollick is faced with a few injury problems for this clash, just as he was for last Saturdays game at home to Banbury United. On top of the injuries Hollick has had to contend with Craig Feeney departing the club to move to Australia, which limits his striking options somewhat. Steve will no doubt assess the situation on the evening to see who is available before naming his line up for the game.

Sholing have had a reasonable start in the 2015/16 season on their return to the Sydenhams Premier league. They currently sit in 5th place with Seven wins, Three draws and Three defeats. Last weekend Sholing beat Horndean 2-0 at the Silverlake Arena. So they will go into Wednesdays clash in good heart.

The last meeting between the two clubs at the Silverlake Arena saw the Boatmen run out 2-1 winners in a Southern League fixture back in January. Craig Feeney scored the Stags goal on that occasion.
