IT REQUIRED A BIT of negotiating with one or two clubs but AFC Totton's full set of pre-season fixtures has now been confirmed ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Stags kicked-off their preparations for life in The Enterprise National League South with a 2-1 win on the 3G surface at Winchester City's Charters Community Stadium on Saturday 05 July, veteran centre-forward Scott Rendell bagging both goals in a game in which manager Jimmy Ball fielded almost entirely different XIs in either half.
Game No.2 will also be on a 3G surface, with Sholing having just had their brand new pitch installed at the Mortgage Decisions Stadium on Portsmouth Road. Totton were 3-0 winners on their last visit in the Southern League Premier Division South encounter that took place almost a year ago.
After those two away games, all five of Totton's remaining pre-season friendlies will be at the Snows Stadium, beginning with a visit from a Southampton XI on Saturday 12 July and culminating in a match against Aldershot Town on Saturday 02 August.
