Supporters Player of the Season 2023-24_2.jpg

AFC-Totton-badge.pngAS THE STAGS GO INTO the business end of the season, still fighting on three fronts for trophies and promotion, it’s time for the fans to ponder their Player of the Season.

Six nominations from the Matchday Programme Editor:

Ex-Havant & Waterlooville duo Sam Magri and Joe Oastler have both added valuable steel and experience to the team this season.

Luke Hallett, who won the award last year, and Jordan Ragguette have continued to develop into young players of real quality and potential.

Among the attackers, Leon Maloney has been the team’s primary playmaker, while the captain Scott Rendell has continued to deliver goals.

But the vote is open for you to select whichever player you deem worthy of being crowned the Supporters’ Player of the Season 2023/24. To vote, simply complete one of the paper forms available from The Stags Bar and drop it into the Ballot Box.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Jordan Ragguette has had another impressive season.

Having won the Southern League Division One South title, the Champion of Champions Super Cup and the SDFA Southampton Senior Cup in 2022/23, Jimmy Ball’s men are competing for a different kind of treble this season.

The Stags are already through to the Final of the Servio Hampshire Senior Cup versus AFC Portchester of the Wessex League Premier Division, and they will also be looking to reach a third consecutive SDFA Southampton Senior Cup Final when they face Brockenhurst in the Semi-Final at Gang Warily on Tuesday 23 April.

But the league is what really matters, and AFC Totton continue to compete for a place in the Promotion Play-Offs. Come On, You Stags!
