Newly-installed Totton & Eling manager Craig Stanley (above, centre) will see his charges in action for the first time when the Millers begin their programme of pre-season friendlies by entertaining Wick FC at Hatches Farm Playing Fields on Saturday 02 July.

The former England C international midfielder and his two assistant managers, Ben Hillman (above, left) and Mark Lilley (above, right), have been hard at work over the summer re-building the squad that finished in the Wessex League Division One relegation zone last season, earning an 11th-hour reprieve due to an administrative reshuffle that sees them retain their Step 6 status.

The Millers will kick-off their pre-season campaign when they face Wick, from the Littlehampton area, who were 10th in the Southern Combination Division One. The two clubs are on the same level of the English Football Pyramid system (two successive promotions would land the Wickers in the Isthmian League Div.1 South).

While work continues to ready the Miller Park pitch for the new season, they will be using Hatches Farm Sports Ground in Romsey Road, West Wellow SO51 6EA.

Saturday's match kicks-off at 3:00pm and entry is FREE.
