Rob is a renowned Southern League centre-back who made the switch from Winchester City to local rivals AFC Totton in February 2022 with both sides still heavily involved in the hunt for promotion.
A former Southampton Academy prospect who was released at 16, Rob was with Gosport Borough for a couple of years before beginning his first stint at the Snows Stadium under manager Steve Riley in the 2013/14 season. He captained the side for a while but moved on after Riley’s dismissal in 2015 to sign for Winchester City. A spell at Alresford Town and a return to Gosport’s Privett Park followed before he re-signed for Winchester in 2018.
Now aged 27, he returns to the Snows Stadium to link up with Adam Tomasso and Nathan Hunt, who he grew up with, and Harry Medway who he played with at Gosport.
