AFC Totton’s reward for their exciting penalty shoot-out victory over divisional rivals Frome Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy at the weekend is a trip to Essex to take on Vanarama Conference South outfit, Concord Rangers in the 2nd Round.
'The Beach Boys' from Canvey Island went all the way to the Final in the 2020 edition of this competition, which - due to the fixture delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic - was played at Wembley Stadium on 03 May 2021, where they lost 0-1 to Harrogate Town.
As with all Step 2-level clubs, Concord's 2021-22 FA Trophy campaign is yet to take-off, having received a bye directly into the 2nd Round.
Two tiers higher in the English Football Pyramid, Concord are currently 7th in their league table and will present stiff opposition to our ambitions of going further in the FA Trophy - but anything can happen in a cup tie and they will underestimate the Stags at their peril!
This intriguing match will take place at Concord Rangers’ Thames Road ground on Saturday 27 November 2021, kicking-off at 15:00.
Match Tickets: Adults £12; Students & Concessions £7; 11-16-year-olds £3; Under-11s FREE.
Coaches travelling to the match will leave Snows Stadium at 9:00am on the morning of Saturday 27 November.
