JOSH DOLLING BECOMES THE NEWEST STAG
AFC Totton are thrilled to announce the signing of dynamic English forward Josh Dolling for our 2025/26 Enterprise National League South campaign, adding a proven goal-scorer with elite academy experience and a versatile attacking skill set to Jimmy Ball’s squad.
Dolling developed through the youth systems of Blackburn Rovers, Manchester United and Burnley, where he netted 24 goals before moving to the United States in 2017 to play for Missouri State University.
Over four standout collegiate seasons, he recorded 40 goals and 14 assists in 82 appearances, earning multiple All-Missouri Valley Conference and All-America honours, as well as a spot on the prestigious MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
Turning professional in 2022, Dolling scored nine goals for St. Louis City 2 in MLS Next Pro before joining New Mexico United in the USL Championship, where he quickly impressed with decisive goals and creative link-up play, later adding experience with a loan spell at Las Vegas Lights FC in 2023.
In January 2024, he signed for Spokane Velocity in USL League One, registering five goals in 22 appearances during their inaugural season. Known for his aerial presence, tireless pressing and ability to create and finish chances, Dolling is a clutch performer with a knack for big moments.
During Pre-season, Josh did appear as a trialist and he impressed Jimmy and the management staff to sign for this season!
