SEASON SO FAR: EASTBOURNE BOROUGH
After being a part of that crazy title race last season and finishing in a playoff spot, there was a lot of promise about the future at Eastbourne.
However, it was a summer of change that has so far stalled their momentum. Popular manager Adam Murray departed by mutual consent, and the squad was revamped.
So far they sit in 23rd place, occupying one of the four relegation spots, on two points. The Sports started the season with a 1-1 away draw against Farnborough but then suffered three defeats on the bounce, losing 1-2 at home to Hornchurch, 0-1 at home to Dover and 2-0 away to Bath City.
In their last match they faced Slough Town, who have also experienced their own fare of struggles so far in this season and that game ended 1-1.
