BATH CITY – THEIR SEASON SO FAR:
So far, The Romans have had a difficult campaign, sitting in 19th, through 11 games so far.
After starting the season with a draw away to Worthing and a loss at home to Dover, Bath bounced back with two wins against Salisbury and Eastbourne Borough.
A draw against Ebbsfleet came after those wins, but they couldn’t carry on momentum as they went winless in their next seven matches, drawing two in the league and losing four.
The other loss came in the FA Cup second qualifying round away at Wimborne Town, in the division below. Bath won 4-0 at home in the Somerset Cup but in their last match fell to yet another league defeat, losing to league leaders Hornchurch, 3-2.

MY OPPOSITION PLAYERS TO WATCH:
GOALKEEPER/DEFENCE: Harvey Wiles-Richard (GK)
Bath-born Goalkeeper Harvey returned to Twerton Park in June 2024 following his release by Bristol City. He began his career with City’s under-18 side, making his debut for the first team in an FA Trophy tie at Horsham in November 2018 as a 16-year-old.
He went on to make a further eight appearances over the following two seasons which earned him a trial with Bristol City toward the end of the 2019-20 season.
He signed for the Robins during the summer and would go on to spend four seasons at Ashton Gate, playing regularly for their under-23 side and making the first-team matchday squad on a number of occasions.
He also had loan spells with Gloucester City, Hereford United and, last season, Weymouth. He was named the player of the season for 2024/25.
MIDFIELD: Will Jenkins-Davies
Midfielder Will signed for City in June 2025. He joined the Plymouth Argyle academy at under-9 level and worked his way through the youth ranks before signing a first professional contract in October 2021.
In July 2023 he joined his hometown club Torquay United on a season long loan. Although injury disrupted that season, he returned to Plainmoor the following season, going on to play nearly 70 games for the Gulls, scoring 13 times.
He was released by the Pilgrims following the 2024/25 season and City moved quickly to secure his services. Will has also represented Wales at U16, U17 and U18 level.
ATTACK: Jake Tabor
Striker Jake joined City on loan from Swindon Town in September 2025.
He spent the early part of his career with a number of North London non-league sides, but it was his goalscoring exploits with Amersham Town – where he scored an incredible 127 goals in 91 appearances over two seasons – that brought him to the attention of Football League clubs.
After a trial in the summer of 2025, he signed his first professional deal with Swindon and will spend time on loan at Bath to get game time.
