AFC Totton are delighted to welcome Ibrahim Olateju
AFC Totton are delighted to announce the signing of Ibrahim (Ibby) Olateju, with the exciting 19-year-old forward joining the Stags after impressing the management team during his trial period throughout pre-season. The attacker arrives after developing through the academy at Cheltenham Town before gaining valuable senior experience with Evesham United, Malvern Town, Bristol Manor Farm and Brislington FC as he continued his progression into first-team football.
Blessed with pace, power and a direct style of play, Olateju is capable of playing through the middle or in the wide attacking positions. His energy, work rate and attacking intent have caught the eye throughout pre-season, while his two goals in the Stags' pre-season programme further highlighted his attacking quality and earned him the opportunity to become part of Scott Rendell's squad ahead of the new campaign.
Still in the early stages of his career, Olateju arrives at the Snows Stadium eager to continue his development and make his mark in blue and white.
Having impressed both the coaching staff and supporters during his trial spell, everyone at AFC Totton is delighted to welcome Ibrahim to the club and looks forward to seeing him continue his development throughout the season.
