AFC Totton
Having defeated Bashley in the opening round, AFC Totton continue their Southampton Senior Cup campaign at the Snows Stadium this Tuesday night with the 2nd Round visit of Durley FC, who were the beneficiaries of a bye in the 1st Round.
Durley play in the 14th tier of English football, where they are currently 3rd in the Southampton Saturday Football League Senior Div.1 table. But the club does not have a strong online presence and we have no records of the Saturday teams having ever played each other before.
Although they had a relatively active spell in November, they only played one match in December when they lost 2-5 at home to BTC Southampton. At the time of writing, there should also be a final score for today’s match against Southbrook but the FA’s Full-Time website has not been updated with a result or confirmation that the match actually went ahead.
Hopefully, AFC Totton’s scouting mission turned up more useful information than my desk research!

Durley’s Sunday team plays in the same division as Sam Conway’s AFC Totton Sunday team, though the only meeting between the two sides so far this season had to be abandoned after 75 minutes when the Stags’ captain Gary Bagley suffered a broken leg at Testwood Recreation Ground, in early November. That fixture is to be re-arranged.
