The Club can confirm that experienced defender Joe Oastler has departed AFC Totton to join Gosport Borough on a permanent deal.
Joe joined The Stags on the 15th September 2023 from Havant & Waterlooville just in time for our FA Cup second round qualifying match away at then National League North side, Gloucester City.
Oastler made 116 appearances at Totton and helped the club through two successful years in the Southern Premier Division South and a promotion in his second season up to the National League South, putting in some heroic defensive performances on the way to and at the highest ever level AFC Totton has played at!
This season, the defender has made 25 appearances for Totton, starting in 21 of those and appearing off the bench four times, scoring two goals in those periods.
Everyone at AFC Totton thanks Joe for all his hard work as he consistently was a feature in Jimmy Ball’s defences over the years, and his commitment to the Club was second to none and we all wish him the best in the future!
