AFC Totton ground out a 3-1 victory over a spirited Lymington Town.

The hosts dominated the first half only for the visitors to take the lead thanks to a long-range strike from Mitchell-Carlton SPEECHLEY-PRICE. The Stags were level before half-time, their pressure finally telling through a Timothy STEPHENSON own goal.

The second half started with winger Ethan Taylor in goal for Totton, with first-choice Lewis Noice off injured, but the hosts pressed on unperturbed, and took the lead through Joe ADAMS’ first Totton goal, before Matty BURROWS gave some breathing space with a third. There was more late drama with both Burrows and Lymington’s Luke Churchill receiving straight red cards, but the Stags held on for a hard-earned three points.
