AFC Totton recorded their third win of the 2026/27 season with a 4-1 win over Hampton & Richmond Borough at the Snows Stadium.
First-half goals from Tyler Cordner , Josh Sims and Excellent Ikpeama, along with Tony Lee's late strike five minutes from time, ensured a first win in four for the Stags.
Tobi Sho-Silva had netted a consolation for Hampton from the penalty spot midway through the second half however were well beaten in Hampshire.
The side from Greater London crafted the first opportunity of the game ten minutes after a clever run from Zanda Siziba found Sakariya Hassan; however, the Somailian fired over.
Totton came close to an opener on the quarter-hour mark after Sol Wanjau Smith’s cutback found summer signing Excellent Ikpeama, whose close-range effort was thwarted brilliantly by Marco Underwood.
Scott Rendell’s side opened the scoring 20 minutes in after a pinpoint Craig Tanner delivery was met by defender Tyler Cordner, who headed past Underwood.
The Stags thought they had doubled their lead three minutes later after Dec Rose’s split free-kick was headed in by Ikpeama; however, the forward was flagged offside.
The hosts made it two on the half-hour after Josh Sims' long-range effort flew into the bottom corner for his first Stags goal.
Ikpeama made it three five minutes before the break after new signing Harry Mills found the Bristol City loanee, who clinically finished past Underwood.
The side from Hampshire continued to dominate after the break, with Cordner having a deflected effort over the bar.
Hampton thought they had grabbed a goal back on 52 minutes after Siziba’s cutback was prodded home by Tobi Sho-Silva, but he was flagged offside.
The Beavers continued to look for an avenue back into the game on the hour; however, the former Eastleigh defender Luis Fernandes fired over from range.
Totton almost made it four on 65 minutes after summer arrival Charlie Osbourne looped an effort that narrowly eclipsed the far post.
Alan Dawson's side continued to probe at the Totton goal, with Maxwell Mullin's acrobatic effort went wide before Harrison Sodje's free-kick went over the crossbar five minutes later.
Shoe Silva got Hampton’s name on the scoresheet on 73 minutes from the penalty spot after Kretzschmar was brought down by Mike Carter, with the forward sending Gosney the wrong way.
The Stags continued to look for a fourth as we approached the final 15 minutes, with Tony Lee having an effort saved by Underwood before Osbourne flashed an effort wide minutes later.
The Stags made four on 84 minutes through substitute Tony Lee, who on the half volley smashed past Underwood from just inside the box.
The Stags are back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Somerset to face Weston-Super-Mare.
