At AFC Totton, community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Few gestures capture that spirit more meaningfully than the decision to rename the stadium’s access road to Mally’s Way, a permanent tribute to a supporter whose loyalty and passion spanned six decades.
This landmark change, which officially updates the club’s address from Salisbury Road to Mally’s Way, is more than symbolic. It is a statement of identity, honouring the people who have built the club’s story from the stands as much as on the pitch.
The driving force behind this initiative was Adi Rose. Recognising the importance of commemorating a lifelong supporter in a way that would endure, Adi put forward the idea with clarity and purpose. What followed was not just a suggestion, but a fully realised project, one that required persistence, organisation, and a deep understanding of both the club and the wider community.
From initial concept through to final approval, Adi worked closely with New Forest District Council, navigating the formal processes and ensuring every detail was handled correctly. This level of commitment was instrumental in turning a heartfelt idea into a lasting reality.
“Mally’s Way” now stands as a daily reminder of what AFC Totton represents: loyalty, history, and the bond between club and supporter. It ensures that Mally’s legacy will continue to be part of every matchday experience, every arrival, and every journey to the ground.
Alongside this, a new postcode has now been generated for the club, which you can see below, with the full address.
The club extends its sincere appreciation to Adi Rose for the vision, dedication, and determination shown throughout this process. It is through efforts like these that the spirit of AFC Totton continues to grow, grounded in its past, and inspired for its future. We also express our appreciation to Communities and charities manager , Tara Doel , who split the fee between AFC Totton in the Community, the fans and the club itself.
