PLAYER BIOGRAPHY:
Andre Changunda, born on 13 June 2007 and hailing from Finsbury Park in London, is a young, promising English forward currently on the books at Peterborough United. As a winger, he's adaptable to playing on either flank.
Changunda came through Peterborough United’s youth setup, making his Under-18 debut on 11 February 2023. Over the 2023/24 campaign he established himself as a regular for the youth side and also began appearing for the U21s. His consistent performances and leadership potential were recognised when he was named captain of the youth team for the 2024/25 season.
Thanks to his development, in June 2025 Changunda signed his first professional contract with Peterborough United. On the final day of the 2024/25 season, he made his first-team debut, coming on as a substitute in a match against Rotherham United on 3 May. That appearance marked a key milestone: from academy prospect to senior-level football.
To accelerate his development with regular senior match time, in late 2025 Changunda was sent on youth loan, first to Harborough Town (Southern Premier Division Central) for a short spell.
Playing style-wise, Changunda is described by his club as a winger with the ability to “go both ways” in one-on-one duels, combining pace, balance and good ball-control; he enjoys setting up teammates as much as creating or scoring himself, and his versatility allows him to play across the front line.
