PLAYER BIOGRAPHY:

Raised in France before moving to England, Kasimu honed his game through the English lower league and university football system, carving out a reputation as a natural goalscorer.

Kasimu began his senior career with Brentwood Town before joining Team Solent, where he quickly established himself as a standout talent. Between 2017 and 2019, he produced remarkable numbers, scoring 62 goals in just 57 appearances for the university side — a record that underlined his clinical finishing ability and attracted the attention of clubs higher up the footballing ladder.

He made the step into senior non-league football with Blackfield & Langley during the 2018–19 season, initially on dual registration. His performances earned him a permanent switch in 2019–20, where he went on to score 8 league goals in 29 appearances, further showcasing his ability to adapt to more competitive levels of football.

Kasimu’s breakthrough came after joining AFC Totton in 2020. Over two seasons, he became the club’s talismanic striker, scoring 24 league goals in 38 appearances and 31 goals across all competitions. His standout campaign came in 2021–22, when he netted 30 goals, including a decisive strike in the Southampton Senior Cup final at St. Mary’s Stadium. That goal sealed the trophy for Totton — their first in four decades — cementing Kasimu’s status as a club hero.

In May 2022, Kasimu signed for Farnborough, stepping up to the National League South. He adapted seamlessly, finishing the 2022–23 season as Farnborough’s top scorer with 12 goals across all competitions, including 9 league strikes in just 20 appearances. His performances demonstrated that he could make an impact at higher levels of the English football pyramid.

Kasimu’s progress earned him a move into the professional game, signing with League Two side Sutton United in January 2023. He made his EFL debut on 15 August 2023 against Gillingham, coming on as a late substitute. Although he featured in 6 league matches without finding the net, his rise from university football to the professional ranks was a significant milestone in his career.

After his time in the Football League, Kasimu returned to familiar territory with a loan spell at Farnborough in early 2024. Later that year, he signed for Enfield Town ahead of the 2024–25 season, continuing to compete in the National League South.

Kasimu is a dynamic forward whose game is built around movement, pace, and intelligent positioning. His ability to score from both open play and set pieces, combined with his natural instinct in front of goal, makes him a constant threat to opposition defences. While his professional breakthrough at Sutton was a tough challenge, his consistency and impact in non-league football highlight his determination and attacking talent.
