PLAYER BIOGRAPHY
Malachi Linton is a powerful, dynamic centre‑forward bringing energy, physical presence, and valuable experience from the National League and beyond.
Born in Ipswich, he began his football journey in the Tractor Boys’ youth system before moving on to Crewe Alexandra, where he featured for their Under‑18 and Under‑23 squads. A brief but prolific stint at Lowestoft Town—where he netted 13 goals in 10 appearances—caught the eye of Football League clubs and earned him a move to Wycombe Wanderers in September 2020.
During his time at Wycombe, Linton gained experience through loan spells at Slough Town and King’s Lynn Town, notably scoring eight goals in 28 National League games during the 2021–22 season. A free transfer followed when he joined Yeovil Town in June 2022, where he added five goals in 35 appearances in his debut season.
In July 2023 he moved on loan to Taunton Town, making a promising start before an injury interrupted the season. He returned in January 2024 and was later loaned to Weymouth, where despite setbacks he managed to score five goals in 11 outings, building a strong rapport with the club before confirming a permanent move there ahead of the 2024–25 campaign.
Although Weymouth were relegated from the National League South in 2024–25, Linton still finished with eight goals in 35 appearances—impressive stats that caught the attention of AFC Totton, who secured his signature ahead of their debut season in the National League South!
