ENFIELD TOWN – THEIR SEASON SO FAR:

Enfield are currently sat in 23rd place in the ENLS with 20 points after 23 games. CLICK HERE to view how the full table shapes up!

Starting in August, Enfield just managed three points, all three coming from draws. The other three games were losses, including our away game at the Queen Elizabeth II stadium.

Their first win of the season came away at Tonbridge but lost four days after at home against a good side in Weston-super-Mare. That was followed up by three wins on the spin, two in the FA Cup against Enfild FC and Quorn and one in the league against the only team below Enfield at the time of writing in Chippenham.

October didn’t continue in the same vain for Town, as they lost their opening three games in the month, one of which saw them knocked out in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup against Slough. After those three losses came a win against Ebbsfleet, but straight away lost to Horsham in the league but lost in the Middlesex Challenge Cup on penalties.

November started off rough for Enfield, with the first five games lost in the month which saw them knocked out of the FA Trophy, but they ended the month three undefeated with two wins in a row against Farnborough and Maidstone and the rounded off the month with a draw away at Bath.

In December, they only played three games, drawing away at league leaders Hornchurch but then followed up with two heavy losses against Chelmsford 0-4, and Hemel Hempstead 3-0 last time out.
